In our classes you will be able to learn valuable business skills such as building resumes and preparing for professional interviews. You will also get the opportunity to enhance your soft skills through our Microsoft certification process in which you can certify in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. You also have the ability to compete and participate in two business organizations : BPA and DECA which offer a variety of competitions and allows you to travel, engage in friendly competition against your peers, network and prepare for the business world as well as explore potential career options. We had such an amazing time at states and have 7 students who qualified for Nationals! These are all of the students who were state finalists or qualified for Nationals in May.

This year we were able to have 16 students attend the State Leadership Confreence for Business Professionals of America and have 7 students place for nationals! Congradulations to our winners and we hope to see more qualify for states next year. Also, 5 students will be competing in DECA states this Febuary 28th -March 3rd. Good job FLHS BPA and DECA students!!

Welcome back to school! Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer and is ready to get back to school and a new season of BPA and DECA competitions!

This year's 2018-2019 BPA National Leadership Conference is located in Anaheim, California and DECA National Conference is in Orlando, Florida.

As the school year comes to an end, Marketing students are certifying in Excel for their final grade. In addition, most marketing students will be certified in Microsoft Office before summer.

Last week, seven marketing and BPA students competed in BPA National Level Competition in Dallas, TX. One of our own, Vejay Parsotan, got 1st place in Human Resource Management. In addition, Christian Nogodula and Parker Lindsay made it into the top twelve in their competition of Website Design Team. We also had one of our chapter members, Robert Skryzpek, run for BPA National Office. We are so proud of all of our classmates who competed and made it to national competition!
